Cookie Policy
Effective date: 14 October 2026
Last updated: 14 October 2026
This policy explains how Revamp Limited (“Revamp”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on revamp.ng, recruitment.revamp.ng and any Revamp mobile app. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let the site remember things, such as that you are logged in or what is in your cart. Similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, work in a similar way, and this policy covers them too.
2. The cookies we use
| Type | What they do | Who sets them | How long they last |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keep you logged in, remember your cart and bookings, protect forms and accounts from abuse, and keep the site secure. The site cannot work properly without them. | Revamp; Paystack during payment | From the end of your visit up to 1 year |
| Functional | Remember your choices, such as your language, saved listings and your conversation with the Revamp Guide assistant. | Revamp; our translation and chat providers | Up to 1 year |
| Analytics | Count visits and show us which pages are used, so we can improve the site. For example _ga and _ga_*. | Google Analytics | Up to 2 years |
| Advertising | Measure whether our Google adverts lead to visits or sign-ups. For example _gcl_au. | Google Ads | Up to 90 days |
| Social login | Only if you choose “Sign in with Facebook”: lets Facebook confirm who you are. | Meta (Facebook) | Set by Facebook |
We do not use cookies to sell your data.
3. Third-party cookies
Google, Paystack, Meta and our translation and chat providers set some of the cookies above. They use the information under their own privacy policies, and some of them process it outside Nigeria. Section 8 of our Privacy Policy explains how we protect transfers outside Nigeria.
4. How to control cookies
- In your browser: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, or only allow cookies from sites you choose. Look under Settings, then Privacy, in Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge.
- Google Analytics: you can opt out on all websites with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Google ads: you can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
If you block strictly necessary cookies, you may not be able to log in, book or pay.
5. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when the cookies we use change. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version.
