# Escrow & Payment Terms

Escrow & Payment Terms **Effective Date:** January 1, 2025 These terms describe how payments are handled on Revamp.ng.

## 1. Escrow‑Like Holding

 When a customer pays for a service, the payment is held securely by Revamp until one of the following:
- The service is confirmed as complete by the customer
- The 24‑hour review period expires

## 2. Release of Funds

- **Confirmed completion:** Payment is released immediately
- **No response in 24 hours:** Payment is released automatically

## 3. Disputes Before Release

 If a dispute is raised within the review period, Revamp will examine evidence and mediate. Funds will be released or refunded based on the outcome.

## 4. Fees & Charges

 Revamp charges a Service Protection Fee per completed job.

## 5. Payment Processors

 We use third‑party gateways (e.g., Paystack) for payment processing. Revamp never stores card details.

## 6. Provider Commission

 Providers pay a small commission per job at the point of release.

## 7. Chargebacks

 If a customer initiates a chargeback with their bank, Revamp may withhold the provider’s payout until the issue is resolved.

## 8. Currency & Taxes

 All prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦). Users are responsible for applicable taxes.
